When Mirabel finds him living in the walls of their Casita ten years later, he has a little room where he’s been living by himself the entire time. To protect Mirabel from being ostracized the way he has been, Bruno decides to leave the family when he sees a vision of Mirabel having something to do with the fate of the family’s magic. In doing so, she discovers her long-lost uncle Bruno, and a prophecy that suggests that the fate of the family lies in her hands.īruno’s power to see the future makes the family misunderstand him as unlucky or a bearer of bad news only.
